L' homme est essentiellement un être de relation, par le regard, la parole, le geste, tout en nous est fait pour communiquer avec les autres.
Ne serait-il pas vain de vouloir représenter l'homme sans intégrer cette notion de relation ?
C'est pour cette raison que j'expérimente dans la sculpture hyperréaliste, cette nouvelle représentation.
En animant le regard, j'ai créé, cette étrange relation dans le face à face avec une sculpture.
J'explore ainsi la première "parole" échangée (pour reprendre l'expression chère au philosophe Emmanuel Lévinas)entre un spectateur et une sculpture.

The man is essentially a being of relation, by the glance, the word, the gesture, everything in us is made to communicate with the others.
Would not It be vain to want to represent the man without integrating this notion of relation?
It is for that reason that I experiment in the hyper realistic sculpture, this new representation. By animating the glance, I created, this strange relation, in the confrontation with a sculpture. I so investigate the first exchanged "word" to take back the expression expensive to the philosopher Emmanuel Lévinas) between a sculpture and a spectator.

"P'titom" est le projet de sculpture que je réalise actuellement.
Le propos de cette installation est de montrer la dignité de la personne handicapée mentale et aller au delà des discours qui prônent l'acceptation de la différence.

Une série originale de sculpture en résine polyuréthane polychrome de 75cm de haut sera réalisée à l'occasion" de la future présentation de "Petit Homme"

"La Tibétaine" réalisée pendant l'année 2007 est mon deuxième travail sur la représentation de l'altérité et j'ai voulu rendre hommage à Duane Hanson dans cette installation et à sa fameuse sculpture de ménagère américaine poussant son chariot de supermarché. Dans cette création le chariot est désespérément vide et nous pose la question de la façon dont nous partagons les richesses de cette planète. La Tibétaine garde tout de même le sourire, elle n'a peut-être pas les mêmes préoccupations que nous ?
Je ne peux que vous inviter à faire cette expérience de la rencontre avec la Tibétaine.

" The Tibetan " realized during the year 2007 is my second work on the representation of the otherness and I wanted to honour Duane Hanson in this installation and its famous sculpture of American housewife pushing her supermarket trolley. In this creation the Caddy is desperately empty and asks us the question of the way we partagons the wealth of this planet. The Tibetan keeps smiling all the same, she maybe has no same preoccupations as us?

Pour ma première installation «Emergence» en 2006, je voulais créer autre chose qu'une représentation purement plastique et représenter la relation, explorer pour la première fois la première «parole» échangée dans un face à face avec une sculpture.

Jusqu'à représenter l'altérité

Mes recherches sur la représentation de l'homme et de son visage m'ont amené à représenter le regard.
Représenter l'altérité, ce n'est pas seulement représenter le visage, c'est aussi montrer ce qui fait la relation. Nous regardons l'autre qui nous regarde, nous sommes ainsi exposé à son regard.

For my first installation "Emergence" in 2006, I wanted to create the other thing than the purely plastic representation and to represent the relation, to investigate for the first time the first "word" exchanged in an confrontation with a sculpture.
Until represent the otherness
My researches on the representation of the man and the face brought me to represent the glance.
To represent the otherness, it is not only to represent the face, but it also is to show what what makes the relation. We look the other who looks at us, we are so explained to his glance.
